The Elderly, Low Income and Fixed Income Tenants of Sussex Lodge and Nelson Lodge in Esquimalt BC face being thrown out of our homes by Corporate Landlord Belmont Properties.
Our homes will be torn down and replaced by a single tower catering to the wealthy.
We intend to fight this "demoviction" because we won't be able to afford to live in this city if this goes forward. Many of us face homelessness and others will struggle to survive if this Corporation is allowed to move forward with the demolition.
